I do not want to hear a woman moaning, "Oh, I will come" and see a number of pussies and cocks in the lower left corner. I do not want to hear this from my 11-year-old brother's room. On the plus side, my mother and the rest of my family now think i'm watching porn, woho.
Thanks in advance, morons.

I request a "sticky" until this problem is solved.
Love and kisses!

Spotify's terms of service don't allow anyone under 12 to create an account. This is very common for internet services. The same rule applies to Facebook accounts, for instance.

Having said that, your comment would be equally valid if you had said: " I do not want to hear this from my 12-year-old brother's room".

Ads with any content that could be considered inappropriate for children will not be displayed to users under 15/16 etc (depending on accepted standards in each market). I suspect that your brother has bumped his age up more than a year or two in his date of birth - probably in his Facebook account profile (We receive this info from Facebook when a Spotify account is created using Facebook login info). In other words, he is pretending to be an adult.

I have not heard the ad myself, so I don't know exactly how explicit the ad is. Personally speaking, I'm not sure that anyone of any age should be subjected to either cocks or pussies (except when specifically requested). We are passing on all complaints to the ad team.

"Moaning" ads for condoms as well as for rap artists with lyrics focusing on the artist's desired abuse of female genitalia do not match-up well with any of my personal playlists or radio selections.

Using common advertising sense, wouldn't it be more beneficial to Spotify, advertisers, and listeners to better target the ads based on more rigorous listening data? Perhaps even a feature allowing listeners to register 'dislike' for individual ads so as to help create a more discerning advertising pattern for each listener (seems to work well for the music itself).

In all probability Spotify is already trying to better match listeners to advertisers, but there is still a long way to go.
