Unable to Upgrade to Premium

Unable to Upgrade to Premium

After completing paypal formalities I am returned to the upgrade screen and nothing has happend. No confirmation, no failure message, just back to the previous screen. Repeating the process yields the same result. Switching browsers makes no difference. I did not try another payment method since I would like to stick to paypal.

 

I tried this on a brand new account. I previously deleted my original account in order to migrate to a non facebook version, as per the help instructions on how to migrate accounts (delete the old one and create a new one).

Hmm, that is odd. What country are you from? Have you tried clearing out the cache/cookies in your browser or opening an incognito window and trying the process again?

I was able to clarify the issue with the help of the support team. Since the paypal account had already been used on the original subscription it was no longer elligible for starting a new account with free trial period. Support took care behind the scenes and the account was up an running again in no time.

 

Nonetheless, a failure without any message is not really very elegant.
