Upgrading to Premium Multiple Users

Solved!

Upgrading to Premium Multiple Users

Question:   If we upgrade to Spotify premium can I stream at work via my desktop and my wife also logged into my account on her iphone stream at her work?     I see the premium family package is that recommended for use to share one account on multiple devices?   All of our playlists are currently in one account.

Thanks

Jason

Hi Jason! Close, but a family plan does not allow one account to be used on multiple devices at the same time. Instead, a family plan is like buying a subscription in bulk, and can provide a premium subscription for subscription administrator and up to five other accounts.

If you and your wife would like to listen at the same time you both would need separate accounts to do so, and the family plan would be the best option for that. If you have more questions about the family plan, this FAQ may help.

As far as your playlists go, don't fret! Even on separate accounts you both can share a playlist. You can either opt to follow the playlists, letting you listen to, but not edit them, or you could set up the playlists to be collaborative so you both can work on, and enjoy them.

Hope this clears things up for you. Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns I might be able to help you with. Cheers!
