maximal number of downloads reached?

i just got the message that i reached the maximal number of downloads?? i have premium and i pay for that subscription every month, just to get that notification. i have 12 more gbs on my phone - what is this?

You can download up to 3,333 songs per device on a maximum of 3 different devices, as written on the official Spotify Support article. Did you get to that limit?

I think its pretty weird you pay for a service every month and there is a maximum to the number of songs i can download to my phone. I have the samen issue and i am considering moving to a different music provider. I want to download as many songs as i seem fit.
