I had to reinstall the Spotify app and in the process cannot access my own Account within a Family Plan. What can I do?

Hey @26575929,

Thanks for reaching out!

I'd recommend taking a look at this page about how to locate a Spotify account, as well as this article about finding login details. If you're a member of the plan, you can also ask the Family plan owner to check the members' list on their account page, since your account's display name should be shown there. It can then hopefully help you out with locating your account.

Keep us posted.

Hi again,

Thank you for your message. I was able to go back into Spotify by changing
my password, but I've lost all that I had saved in the LIbrary, and my
favorites or recent plays are no longer there. It is as if I am starting
from scratch. Strangely enough, when I enter Spotify from my iPhone, the
account is there and all my saved items as well, as per usual. What can I
do to replicate my iPhone account access on my Mac?

André B.

Thanks for the reply André!

Sounds like you have several Spotify accounts. I'd recommend opening the app on your iPhone and going to Settings > Account: there you'll find the email/username of the correct account, which you can use to log in on your Mac. There are some additional steps you can try in this article, feel free to check it out as well.

Hope this helps!
