Accidental deletion of entire offline library

I'm in the Navy and am just got back from a deployment. Twice during the deployment I had to re-download all my music (about 10 gigs) whenever I was in port. I accidentally deleted all my songs by hitting the "download button" when I was trying to hit the "shuffle" button and it deleted everything and I had to go months without music. I have everything back now, but I want to know is there a fix for this, as in a way to recover it all or prevent it for deleting everything when accidentally pressed for future deployments?
