My Question or Issue: Hey having a really irritating issue the last week. No songs are appearing in any of my albums. Everything else is fine, podcasts, artist pages, liked songs, etc but whenever I go into an album it's just completely blank. I've reinstalled, clean reinstalled, ran the test site with spotify support absolutely nothing works. Any help is appreciated otherwise there is no point keeping premium

I am having the same issue. I never had the problem before, seems like it started within the past week or two. Everything else appears to be working, but when I select an album I cannot see any tracks - just a black page. I have tried multiple albums, including ones that I have accessed in the past without issue. This is happening on both of my Kindles and my Samsung Galaxy. I have a Premium account, I have uninstalled/reinstalled, emptied all caches, etc. etc. etc. No issues if I log on my computer, so it's not my account - this appears to be a mobile issue.

Yeah in my DMs with the Spotify support guy he said it appeared other people had the same problem so it must be a general issue. It's been over a week now and I'm losing patience. I've exhausted every other solution so hopefully tech support can sort it out

I am losing patience too. This seems to be a recurring issue with Spotify - I found links on the web going back to 2020 with the same issue. They must have done an update or something, I just wish they would figure it out and build it into the next one so it doesn't keep happening.

I've got a similar issue, all playlists, searches, albums, everything is empty. I've tried a clean install, emptying the cache and data, but nothing has worked. This had been since beginning of October this year, so just over a week. I've only recently upgraded to premium and I'm now wondering why I bothered as some threads on the web show similar issues dating back to 2020.

Hey folks,

Thank you for reaching out to the Community and thank you for your insides.

We're receiving some reports of this same issue on Android users. This is now Under Investigation by the internal teams and we hope to get it resolved as soon as possible. Feel free to add your vote by hitting the "Thumbs up" button and subscribe to this thread to be aware of any updates. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

I only use Spotify on my mobile, so I'm not actually getting any benefit from paying for seeing empty playlists. The thread you have directed us to subscribe to dates back to May this year so clearly the issue has been around for 5 months. The fix in the same thread doesn't work for me. So what do I do? Wait 5 more months and pay for the privilege of not being able to use Spotify, or not? Is there any timeline on a fix?

Hi @stevus1970!

We don't have a timeline for a fix as of yet, but we'll post an update in the ongoing issues thread as soon as we have any new information to share.

To the rest here in this thread, if you're having an issue with only albums not loading in the app, and you're running Android, there's a separate ongoing issue that's also being investigated. It's worth checking it out and sharing the requested details so we can forward them to our tech folks.

The Community is always here if something else comes up.

Take care!
