App only plays one song, then stops

Saw this has been a problem in the past but can't find anything recent:

Search an artist and then go to "All Songs" If I played from there, it only plays the one song and then stops.

Messed with the sittings a bit (Crossfade, gapless, stream quality. Uninstalled and reinstalled, cleared cache.)

At one point it would continue to play but music that was "similar" to the one song.

Playing through that whole list was something I was able to do last week, but not anymore.

Why am I paying £9..99 per month for an app that stops working after 1 minute. I have a Galaxy Note 8 and the latest Android update from this week (w/c 15th Oct 2018) - am now using Soundcloud as it plays for more than 1 minute. Seriously thinking of stopping Spotify in favour of SoundCloud

I have the same problem after the update and its the new feature that spotify have. If you have autoplay on then it will give you "radio" based on the song you listened to. If you turn it off then it only plays the song you choose. 

Can't really understand why this is a feature now.  😑

it stops playing after about a minute if i leave the screen on - if I turn the screen off it plays fine !!
