Hey there @Dingir!

Thanks for reaching out to us, we'll do our best to help you sort this out as soon as possible!

Does this happen on Wi-Fi or 3/4G or both?

We can recommend that you check the phone's battery settings and make sure that Spotify is set as an exception if you're using the battery optimization option.

It's also a good idea to check that Spotify has the permissions to run in the background.

If that's not causing the issue, we'll need to make sure that you've performed a clean reinstall with the steps here instead of a regular one.

We'll be on the lookout for your answer and we'll see what we can suggest next. Let us know if there's anything else we can do for you in the meantime.

Hi! I have the same problem... I even have the same phone and the same OS. Tried everything you recommended, and it didn't work 😞

Alongside this artist page problem,  I also have problems with:
-Albums (Message displayed: "Sorry, something went wrong. That didn't work. Please have another go.")
-My saved podcasts and albums (it's like I have nothing saved)

In my computer, these things work perfectly. I even sent feedback trough the Playstore a while ago. Hope this can be fixed! 🙂

Hey there @lbvec,

Thanks for reaching out to us and welcome to the Community 🙂

It sounds like this could be a device-related issue. If you're using an SD card, we'd suggest you remove it, reinstall Spotify and then to try running the app without it. Are there any changes?

Just to double check- Does the issue persist when you try with a different network? We'll look into this further.

Keep us in the loop! We'll be right here if you have any questions.

So, when I first re-dowloaded it (yesterday-ish), it didn't work... But today it did (almost miraculously), so I tried switching the storage back to the SD card. The app started crashing and I had to uninstall and reinstall. With that, the problems with the artist or album page came back... Then I ejected my SD card, and it worked! So i'm guessing that's what's causing these issues (even though I mounted it again and it runs fine, I guess is the storage setting part per se).
