OptOut from mobileapptracking.com

I use the Android App for Spotify. Regularly I see requests like this in my logfiles:

or

Is it possible to OptOut from this?

Hi, I assume you're logged in using a Facebook profile? While you cannot opt out of this (it's part of the authentication handshake) you can ensure that what's being sent to Facebook for privacy reasons is controlled by toggling the settings in the 'Social' section of the Spotify Settings screen.

Hi,

no - I am not logged in via facebook. My example request does not provide any authentication information.

The above is an example of ad-tracking, that occurs when I start Spotify.

My primary concern is "mobileapptracking.com" - which is proxy for other data kraken like flurry.com or adcolony.

I would like to know how I can Opt-Out from this if possible.

I recommend you contact Spotify Support using the form here as they'll be able to liaise with the development team.

You will get an automated reply at first, however if you need to chase them just reply to the email as it does get monitored.
