Playing out of speakers after removing headphones

I've just done the most recenet software update for my Samsung galaxy S5 and have been having a few issues with spotify since one issue is when listening through my headphones if i accidently pull them out or take them out for some reason spotify no longer auto pauses the song and instanly plays it full blast out my phones speakers. The other issue is that the app is randomly closing it's self down mid way through songs that i have downloaded to my device 

Is this happening to anyone else or is just me? 

Does anyone  have a soultion?
