Sd card downloads don't stay

My Question or Issue

After setting up my SD card, clearing Spotify data, deleting and redownloadI download songs which are being stored in the sd card, the problem here is that once they are downloaded I go offline and my songs are 1. Not downloaded 2. Don't show 3. Tells me I don't have them saved

Once I comeback online they are not downloaded or even the option checked, worse yet it is still taking up space (as cache [6gb]) so I clear it and redownload but still the same...

I'm using my internal storage again which is real annoying.. thanks for any help

Do you mind trying the steps in this Spotify Answer and letting us know if that helps?

If that doesn't work, could you confirm the following for us:

• the OS version of your Android device
• Have you set your default storage location to your SD card?
• Does your default storage location automatically revert to your internal storage after restarting the app?
