I'm struggling to see the benefits of syncing music to my tablet - I've downloaded Spotify on my tablet, and I can see all my paylists, and they play (on the whole, not every song, but a good 80%). So when I'm on Spotify on my desktop, it's encouraging me to sync to my tablet. What benefits will I get from doing this? Or has it already synced, and I just didn't realise.

Hiya. A great starting point for new spotify users is the help guides which you'll find here. The cover things like downloading spotify content or synching local files to mobile devices. The benefit of doing this is that you can then listen to the downloaded music without an internet connection so you can listen to music when you are away from your wifi and without using mobile data.
Thanks for that - started sycnhing, and after an hour so, looked at progress, and realised it was actually taking up physical space on my tablet, which I don't want it to do. How can I unsynch, or delete the synched tracks?
Just clear the cache from the android spotify options.
Thanks for your answer.
Furtehr question - when I go to delete the cache it says I'll lose everything incl playlists etc - presuambly these then come back the next time I use it?
