My Question or Issue
When I listen to songs that I downloaded , the musics stops after a couple of songs. Like in the middle of the song, or end of it. I reinstalled the app, I re-downloaded songs but it's still the same... How can I fix it?

Hey, I talked to an agent via spotify live chat. And she said that I should try the clean re-install and I did... My problem is solved. You also should try that. Here is a link to find out how to perform a clean reinstall: https://community.spotify.com/t5/Spotify-Answers/How-can-I-perform-a-clean-reinstall-of-the-app/ta-p...
Same problem.
Had it earlier on Samsung A5 and now on new A71 (so with new clean install) as well.
App version is 8.5.58.945
Tried all settings to prevent putting app to sleep I could find. Keeps stopping at random times, often after only a few minutes. Both when phone is locked and when using other app (like right now while I'm typing this message!!!!!!!!)
This is VERY annoying!!!!
Same problem here (on Samsung A50), that's very annoying... I've looked around a little and saw this post about the same problem... eight years ago. Ouch. In this post there's also the same problem, more recent, but still without any official solution.
How is that possible that this problem has been going on for eight years? Spotify, do you plan on fixing this?
I don't play my music offline to grudge on my subscription, it's just that it's way more environmentally friendly to not use streaming so it would be good for your users and for the planet if you could solve this issue. And by paying 10€ a month for the subscription I would except a problem like this to be fixed, especially after many users have noticed it and posted it on this forum.
Thanks a lot in advance.

Well, I already had a clean install already since I have a new phone. But I tried it again anyway, turning off the phone between uninstalling and reinstalling, that being the only difference mentioned in this link to the way I've tried before on my old phone.
As expected it didn't work this time either... 😞
Once in a while spotify plays on, but most of the time it stops after exactly 10 minutes (I timed it a few times, turned out it stops after 10 minutes each time)...
The latest update a few days ago seems to have cleared the problem for me
Unfortunately I had to do another clean install to solve a new problem the last update introduced. That problem is solved, but now spotify stops playing every 10 minutes again!!!!!!!!!
I've noticed that a few times as well. Stopping and starting the app again helped.
But it does show that the app is not really stable and not well tested if new bugs appear with each new update...
I haven't had (yet) the problem of music stopping each second but no later than this afternoon I was listening to music offline and music was stopping exactly every ten minutes. As someone suggested at some point (that starting music while online, then going offline, solves the problem) I went online, listened to a few music then gone offline again and this way, music didn't stop.
However that's not a solution and I clearly cannot understand why Spotify isn't responding to that.
