I found content that was stolen and reuploaded

I found content that was stolen and reuploaded

I found a profile that uploaded huge amount of famous tracks claiming they "performed" it. The songs are identical to the original, so obviously it's done just to steal money from the original creators. The account got millions of listens and a few hundred thousands monthly listeners. I don't own the reuploaded songs, but that's just makes me question if my own released songs are safe. Where do I report this kind of bs?

Hi there @kdansh,

Thanks for flagging this with the Community!

It's best to report this directly to our content teams, following the steps listed here. Spotify takes such claims very seriously and they usually get handled swiftly 🙂

Cheers.

How are people such as this song here being uploaded?

https://open.spotify.com/track/3A9CNGjTwA0qYseWKt4s2x?si=fb85964edc1c4461

when its a copy of this song here

https://open.spotify.com/track/4dASQiO1Eoo3RJvt74FtXB?si=987ed55a58f7401d

but its not the fact they stole it, its the fact they get all of the plays from it too, like its a copy in the code rather then just the audio. I've seen many people taking songs like this and wanted to know how they do it? what are the repercussions?

Theres no option to report songs, legit everything but songs
