Kraftwerk - german album version availability

Hi,

I have a Norwegian Spotify account and when it comes to Kraftwerk's discography, only the english/international versions of their albums are available to me. I would really like to have the german versions available too, such as Computerwelt, Die Mensch-Maschine, etc. I see from the content app http://chrisse23.github.io/app/ that they are available in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, so they already are on Spotify. Hopefully, this would mean that the albums could become available to users with other nationalities too, or are the german versions restricted to these countries?

I second this! I wish to learn German at work while listening to music and I already know the Enlish lyrics so well.

Yeah, totally agree. You can't use a VPN either (just tried). Hopefully yhey will get their licencing act together.

Yes, please make the German versions available in The Netherlands. They are the one and only originals according to me. The English versions just don't sound right and I don't have Spotify to listen to ripped CDs again (of course I own them all). Thank you.

I'm from Turkey and I would like to listen the German version too. But it's been 1 year since you wrote this and still they are not available. 😞

To listen german versions of Kraftwerk music you must had Spotify account from Germany, you just set Germany as country where're you from

I have the same problem. I live in Poland but I am half German and I prefer the German version. Unfortunately it is not available in my country.

Basically five years and counting and no German version. The absurd thing is you cannot find it even to BUY!!!! I looked after Der Katalog, and only the 3D version is available and I don't really crave for those versions. I want the real stuff, stuff that made them be what they are and will always be to the music history.

I'm glad I bought and ripped all the classic stuff in Germany some 10 years ago. Are these CDs not for sale at Amazon.de ?

They are not!! Can you believe it? Nor even in Amazon DE, nor even in the same Kraftwerk website!! I regret so much I didn't do the same you did... I said "it's expensive" back then and here I am now :-(((

An absolute necessity. Please Spotify forward our request to the owners of the rights to the German versions.

100% agreed. What are you even thinking spotify? Nobody wants to hear the english version of Kraftwerk. I invest my hard-earned money to your service, and my reward is I have to listend to "the model" rather than the original "das model". Please fix this as soon as possible, this request is 5 years old, and it is a disgrace!

Spotify works hard to constantly add music to its content-database. We want all the world’s music and podcasts on Spotify, but availability can vary over time and between countries, depending on the permissions from the rights holders - artists or record labels.

We add new content to Spotify every day, so if you can’t find something you’re looking for right now, it may appear (or reappear) soon.

Still would be good to be able to choose the coutry releases of albums. Also for other artists e.g. Eric Serra's RXRA album is only availble in french and I would like to listen to the english version of the album.....

Suddenly I can find the German Kraftwerk songs on my Dutch account. Great!

And to my great surprise i found today on my Swedish account all albums are now avaliable in german! I have also always wanted to hear that. Some songs are better in german! Like "Computer World"that has much more and varied lyrics!
