My Question or Issue

The songs listed on on both "Release Radar" and "Discover Weekly" are not the songs that play. I've attached pictures of the playlist that's shown and the actual playlist that plays. What's happening? It's been this way for the past 2 weeks.

Hi there @DirtySánchez,

Thanks for reaching out.

This is quite peculiar. From your description, this is happening across all your devices, is that correct? Could you please provide us the following:

  • Are those two the only affected playlists or does it affect other generated playlists like Daily Mixes or On-Repeat? What about user created playlists?
  • Does it play the same songs every time or is it different each time you start the playback?
  • Does it happen when you press the play button at the top? Does it also happen if you select a specific song from the list?
  • A video of the behaviour so we can take a closer look at exactly what is happening. If the files are too large to attach here in the Community, you can send them to us via Google Drive or as unlisted YouTube videos.

With this information, we’d be happy to investigate.

Keep us posted.

Hi Joan,

To start, the playlists seem to have corrected themselves.

To answer your questions, in order, in case it may help someone in the future reading this.

  • They were the only 2 I noticed at the time. The playlists I made, listed the proper songs playing.
  • They played the songs listed on the alternate site (everynoise.com). It was the proper playlist to the songs that played.
  • Yes, it happened when I pressed the large play button up top. It's how i normally start the playlist. If I clicked the small  play on the broken playlist songs, nothing would happen but, if I clicked the next song on the bottom, it would play the next song listed on the alternate site's playlist.
  • I'm no longer able to video the issue as the problem seems to have been resolved.

Thanks for the response
