Does Spotify boycott and speculate on indipendent small artists ?

I've got Spotify for artists since two years and I still didn't get how to manage it. My music Is continously mixed with other artists, my few followers can't listen more than one track before to be bounced away from my music. Worst than ever there is a unmanagble playlist called with my band name with music I never heard, that have nothing to do with me and that kill all the chances for audience to explore my music.

I feel ashamed to suggest to listen my music on Spotify as I'm actually promoting somebody else!

Compile forms doesn't help until you do every week.

It is just me?

When you look at your playlist, you'll see the 'shuffle' icon next to the 'play' button. This shuffle icon gives you 3 choices: (1) play the list, starting with the first song, (2) play the list in random order, and (3) play the list in random order, including songs Spotify recommends. Could this be the reason?

Emm... Are you serious?

is the music featured that's not yours, by bands/artist's with the same name that you have? I have seen this happen before where Spotify doesn't know that it's different artist's so they categorize the music under one artist.

if so i'd change your name

No, my artist name have nothing to do with the other artists I'm continously mixed. I was making some test with friends and I realised who doesn't pay for Spotify Premium can't basically deicide to listen even two songs of mine, after one is bounced where sporify prefer, I guess to who pay. Does it ring any bell to you now?

I'm definelty not sharing my spotify music with anybody cause I'm not interested they pay this stupid stingy app . Thanks all

I totally get where you're coming from—it can be super frustrating trying to get a foothold on Spotify. I’ve dealt with similar issues, especially when my tracks got buried under playlists I had no control over. It really feels like you’re promoting someone else’s music instead of your own! Have you thought about reaching out to Spotify support? They can sometimes help with those random playlists. I found that sharing my music on social media helped a bit, too.
