This is a playlist filled with beatless ambient/chill-out tracks. I like to listen to this music late in the evening or during a lazy Sunday.
It's quite long and has long tracks too, but that was also the point when I made it. I wanted this playlist to set a mood and maintaining it for a longer time. I might even add a few hours more to it in the coming weeks. For more variation I recommend creating a radio for this playlist.
This music is great for relaxing, or while reading a book. It also works well as a background while doing computer work because it does not distract so much.
Happy listening, folks! Listen to ambient and chill. 😉
Cheers!
@Crow74 Super impressed with this list! Rarely do I listen to the whole playlist, but this really captured my attention - I love ambient music too, so it was nice to find some new pieces. Many of the most immersive tracks find their way here if you're interested!

Thanks for the compliment! I am glad you liked it. I will give your playlist a go too sometime soon. Will give it a follow in a minute. Cheers!
Alphabet of the Trees
New ambient release - November, 2017
Thank you so much, Melody! Cheers!
Hey, can you add my track on your playlist?

Hello @bondager,
I checked out your music, but I'm afraid it does not match the mood of the playlist. Your music leans towards electronic music and has occasional beats, while the music on Ambient Encounters is more ambient/drone and is beat-less.
If you release a track in the future that is more ambient/drone in nature, feel free to contact me again and I'll give your music a listen.
Regards,
Theo
Amazing playlist, I love this music.
One artist that inspires me a lot is Hiroshi Yoshimura. Classic albums, but only one features on Spotify. Worth the dive!

Thank you for your lovely response!
That album by Hiroshi Yoshimura is very nice indeed. I will have to give it a closer listen and pick a track for my playlist. 🙂
Cheers!
Nice friend,
my favorite album by Hiroshi is called Wet Land, from 1993 i think.
Its not on Spotify yet.
Nice playlist, you've got a new follower. I've made a few songs that might fit in your list. Would you consider adding them? 🙂

Hello Magnus,
Just added "Meditation" to the playlist. Nice track!
Best regards,
Theo
Very nice playlist, I see you included one of my favorite artists in the genre, 36.
I have made some music like this too, the most "drone" one would be this:

Although is not as long as the ones in the playlist, maybe on day I will do a whole ambient album instead of just some tacks here and there.
Thanks for sharing the playlist, I am now following it!

Hello Avith,
The track you mentioned certainly fits the mood of the playlist. I will add it to the playlist. Listening to the whole album now. It has a lot of variation going on. Nice production.
Thanks for following!

I cannot reccoment this track enough.
Really nice Playlist. I listened to it while I was writing my paper. Really good for studying.
I am not sure if anyone is interested, but I am trying to make a Space-Ambient Playlist for watching NASA LIFESTREAM. Some of the songs are with beat, others are beatless.
I've been adding to this ambient playlist for a few months now, it's fantastic for concentrating, chilling or helping get to sleep. I'll continue to add to this as I find tracks that fit nicely...

Great ambient/drone music. I listen to it sometimes. Maybe you can add a track of Jeroen's Journey through the chakra's to your list? In that album he combined Ambient with New Age. In the chakra theory corespondes every chakra with a note. The root chakra correspondes to C, so the root chakra track is build with the C note 🙂 Enjoy.

A 5 year anniversary remix is in the make.
