Does streaming data continue for songs that have been deleted and re-upload

Does streaming data continue for songs that have been deleted and re-upload

My band had an EP uploaded to Spotify for us back in 2013ish; it was up for a while before we started talking with a label and they convinced us to take it down. Nothing happened with them, and the band eventually broke up. A decade later, we decided to re-upload the EP to Spotify. It's only been live for a few days, and I've checked out the artists page on Spotify to see that it's only had a total of 17 streams so far. However, a few of the songs are showing stream counts up to 2,500. I'm wondering if the songs were recognized and the old stream data has been associated to them, or if this is simply an error and I'm reading too much into it.
