Unable to remove device from Connect device list

My Question or Issue

Hi! I use an Amazon Echo Dot 3rd gen. I changed its name a couple of weeks back and now it is showing with the new name (no problem at all), but it still appears as well on the Connect device list with the former name (with “Unavailable to listen on” below). I can’t get the former device off the list on any of my devices - any idea on that? I already tried unlinking the Spotify skill on the Alexa app but it does not seem to work... Thanks a lot!

Thank you for sharing your post on the Community. 

We'd recommend heading over to the app Settings > toggling the Show local devices only off/on to check if that makes the difference. 

If it doesn't do the trick, could you try logging out and then logging back in twice? This is how we force the app to refresh its cache.
