Web Picture-in-Picture Player can't resume playback after pausing

My Question or Issue

I've noticed then whenever I use the mini picture-in-picture player from the Spotify Web app, I'm unable to resume music playback after pausing. Clicking on the Play button does nothing. So I always have to reopen the Web player browser tab and resume music playback from there, and then relaunch the mini picture-in-picture player.

We appreciate your report and have made sure that it reaches the right teams. We recommend keeping an eye out for future updates to to your web browser, but can't set a specific timeframe for when this issue will be fixed. For now, we recommend giving it a go with a different one and checking if the Play/Pause button works correctly there.

Same for me on Win10 21H1 and Edge Chromium 91.0.864.37 (64bit)

Mini player Play button does nothing. Pause (when you press it for the first time) works.
