Hamburger Menu Still in 5.7.0 (US)

Hi all, I am in the US and have an iPhone 6S Plus running the latest iOS and the latest Spotify version 5.7.0, and still have the Hamburger menu layout. How do I get the new UI?

Hey!
The update isn't available for all users yet! It will roll out soon for everyone! Just be patient and it'll come to you too! You don't have to do anything for this.

I don't understand how spotify choose who will have new UI.

 

 I have latest spotify version, iPhone 6s and I don't have new UI. I have showed spotify to my friend, he has iPhone 6 and he set up account only recently. He has new UI.

 

I would appeciate if somebody explain how users with new UI are choosen.

I think users get chosen randomly to participate in testing new Spotify features. You can read more about testing here. It takes time for new features to roll out completely to all users. I'm sorry.

This would make sense if it were simply a beta feature in testing for a limited number of users. However, Spotift publicly announced this feature saying it had already been tested, so it is frustrating to see it come available for most people, but not me.

I understand your frustration and I promise this feature will be available to you soon. Make sure you always update your Spotify app to the latest version (or turn on Automatic Updates ;)).

I have another account I don't use that was created first off of my Facebook account (not simply linked afterwards). This other account uses the new layout, so not sure if the "rollout" has been given to Facebook account created users first?

The new layout will be rolled out to everyone. Facebook users don't have priority. Just keep patient and it'll be released to your other account too!

Why do all my friends have the new layout but I don't? 

 

We all have the latest version (5.7.0)

Spotify is rolling out the update to everyone. Just be patient and you'll get it too! Here is some more information about that.

I'm sorry, but this thread should clearly not be marked as solved. My wife has had the menu bar since May and I still have the horrendous hamburger. I've been a Spotify user since it was Europe only and I have to say, this is quite a blunder. Now you're going to tell me to "Be patient! We are rolling it out to everyone!" Well, you won't be rolling it out to us. We are cancelling.

That's weird! The new layout should be rolled out to everyone by now. If you still don't have it, please contact someone from Spotify here

Still have the hamburger menu.  I am literally the last one out of every single person I know who uses Spotify to still have it.  I contacted support and they were of no help.. just said it is still being rolled out. I have tried deleting the app and logging out.  I feel pretty burned as a very early adopter of Spotify.  I can understand rolling something out to a few users in beta, but this is just horrible policy. 

Yup, I still have it as well. Tried reaching out to support and got the same response. Was told "99% of people already have it," as if that was supposed to make me feel better.

Although we're aware most of you have already tried a reinstall, if you could try this again now, that would be great. You can reinstall with the steps here.

I still have the hamburger UI on iOS. I've tried reinstalling. I spoke with support on twitter and they told me that it's still not 100% rolled out? It's frustrating to see everyone on the family plan I pay for with the better UI and I'm stuck with the inferior version.

I reached out to them again on twitter and they said they did "not have any
information on it at this time" and would pass along to the developers that
this is something I would like. They also said that this new UI just
recently started getting rolled out to a very small number of users.
