I'm using the OnePlus 5T. I just updated today to Android 8.0. Oxygen OS 5.0.3.
When I open the Spotify app and connect to Chromecast Audio, music starts playing, but the app still tells me it is working on a connection. Then music continues playing, and the Spotify app goes back to showing "Devices Available" instead of telling me I'm connected. Music keeps playing, and oddly I can adjust the Chromecast volume just by hitting the rocker up or down buttons. But the Spotify app stops reflecting what song is playing. And I can't skip songs or change anything without re-connecting to Chromecast.
For obvious reasons, this is really, really frustrating. I hear music I like and don't know what it is. Please, please, please work with me on a fix! I dreaded and delayed updating the OS for weeks because I was concerned there would be some issue. And, here it is 😞
