Don't resubscribe, it won't work.
This is a heads up for all.
Spotify on their end has cancelled our Family Premium account because I (the manager) have moved countries. Thats not a problem.
So we change managers to a different family member by resubscribing (per Spotify's emails) to Family Premium without me.
But ALAS! Now we find out no else is allowed to join the new family plan (or any group plan as customer service told me) due to their '12 month' rejoin condition. Where accounts are not allowed to switch group plans within 12 months even if Spotify is the one cancelling the plan on their end and asking you to resubscribe.
So if Spotify cancels your plan? Ignore all those resubscribe emails they send you because none of those group plans will work for them!
After a very long winded days of trying to get this issue solved. There is no way to solve it.
Customer service has advised I post about it here ironically so here it is.
But if anyone else has any ideas or solutions please let me know, thanks ahead!
