Can login with username but not email

Hello!

I'm not sure when it started but I was unable to log in with my email. Initally I thought it was my password so I changed it a few times but still no luck.

Found a thread that said I should try using my username (the random set of numbers) instead which worked.

Does anyone know why i can log in with my username but not email and if there's a way to resolve this? Or will it be a case that I'll just have to remember my username number?

In some cases it is possible a user tries to log in to their account with the wrong email address (not the one which was used to initially create the account).

In case you've tried resetting your password, you should have received a confirmation email indicating this is the correct account to be used.

in addition, please let me know if you're getting any sort of error messages upon your attempts to log in - if so, please try sending pics of what you see on your screen (make sure to hide any sensitive info if presented).

Furthermore, if you've managed logging in to your account with your username, you can always use it to log into your account page and from there you can change/update the email address you have set for your account.

Hello OnreByBoo, thanks for trying to help me out with this. So to address your suggestions: 

The email I cannot use to log in with is the one where the reset password link gets sent to and is also the one on my account details.

I don't get an error message when I try and use the email, it just says "incorrect username and password"

I've attached photos which hopefully will show what I mean.
