Disconnect from facebook

I pay 10 dollars for my spotify every month and its connected to my facebook page... How do I make it so the two are not connected.  I deactivated my facebook page and now when I log onto my spotify it reactivates my facebook page and its really annoying.  Do i have to cancel my subscription then create another spotify with a new subscription to get it working without using facebook?

Hi, and welcome to the community!

Provided your account was not originally set up with facebook; you should be able to go to Edit>Preferences then press the button under social that says 'Disconnect from facebook'.

If you don't have the option that Anthony described above, and your account was indeed created using your Facebook then you will need to make a new account since it is not possible to disconnect an account made using Facebook from Facebook. If get in touch with the customer services team directly using the online contact form they will be able to assist you in getting everything moved over to a non-Facebook account.

If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible.
