Hi, I just got a new in hone 12 and on mt old phones I’ve been able to just turn off my phone and my Spotify would continue as normal but when I turn my phone off with 12 after a minute or 2 my Spotify just stops and don’t press anything and then I have to go back on the Spotify app open my phone and unpause and this happens every 2 minutes or so. I don’t know if this is on apple’s or Spotify’s but if someone could help me, it would be greatly appreciated.

Does your wifi/data also turn off when you turn off your iPhone and do you have premium? When I didn’t have premium I used to turn off my iPad while listening to music but my wifi also turned off which paused my music.
