My account has been hacked

To whom it may concern,

 
My premium Spotify account was hacked either on 04/14/14 or 04/15/14.  All of my playlists were deleted as well.  I spent over an hour trying to login with what I know were absolutely correct login details.  Somehow, even though the email and password were changed, my phone and laptop were able to stay logged into the the account website, but not the mobile or desktop player.
 
Whatever I can do to verify that this is MY account and I DID NOT authorize these changes, I will do.  I am a loyal Spotify premium user and I LOVE Spotify... I want what I pay for back to its rightful owner, me.  Please DO NOT email the address that is currently on my account, as it is bogus and definitely NOT ME.
 
I have sent an email to support@spotify.com because I cannot access the support tickets.  I have read that it may take ages to receive a response/resolution so that's why I'm attempting a post here so I may get some additional information.  Please help!

Are you sure you didn't just log in with the wrong credentials? It's pretty easy to log in with a username instead of your facebook login or the other way around.

 

Either way, the account team can sort everything out for you. If the usual contact form doesn't work for you, please use this one instead and someone should get back to you soon.

I am 100% sure I was not using incorrect credentials. Thank you for providing an alternate contact form as the email associated with my account is now a bogus email with a domain that leads to Comedy Central's website. I will try that and hope for the best.

I have just submitted a similar explanation into that form you linked me, and received an automated email.  Spotify Case # 01385499.

Did you reply to the automated email?

Yes, I did.  It appears I received an email in response to the one I sent to support@spotify.com asking me to confirm a few of my personal details to ensure the account is mine.  I have responded and sent the reply. Now I suppose all I can do is wait patiently.  Thank you for your assistance.
