My friend logged on to spotify using my iPad (more than 3 years ago) and eversince our account info have somehow been merged. How do I fix this without losing my playlists and starred content?

That sounds like a mixup! Are you a Premium subcriber? I can think of a couple things to try in any case, like for example:

• Go to your Account page > Offline devices and remove the devices that aren't yours.
• Again in your Account page, on your Account Overview, click on the "Sign out everywhere" button.

Keep in mind that both you and your friend may need to take these steps if your accounts are merged. Additionally, you can send a tweet or DM @SpotifyCares on twitter so that a member of the super-helpful staff can look under the hood for you!
