Profile picture and username does not change in the app

I changed my username and profile picture on Spotify desktop (Windows), but after 3 days, and several attempts of logging out/in again, cleaning cache, and etc., I cannot see the new username or profile picture in the app (Android).
Also, I am still not able to log in using the new username.

Does your updated profile picture show up on your Account page?

Also, you cannot change your username. Your profile name (visible on your profile) is not your username. You can see your username listed on the page I linked above.

Yes, the updated profile picture show up on my account page. But I still can't see it in the app. 

Also yes correct. I had to write "display/profile name" instead of username. However, it is still the old display name I see in the app, but on the desktop it is the new one that shows up.
