Spotify Connect not working from any device

Spotify Connect not working from any device

Spotify no longer recognizes SpotifyConnect devices on my wifi network. It lists them as devices but can not connect to them.

If I uninstall Spotify and reinstall (Samsung s10), then Spotify still recognizes them as being "SpotifyConnect" but I am not able to connect to them.

Same symptom from Windows 10 PC, iPad, Surface pro, Naim app, Sonos.

WiFi router restarted same problem

All devices closed app/force stop - same problem

All connected devices show in list but Spotify will not connect

Guys, there has t be a way to fix this!

thanks for reaching out !

 

Have you tried using Spotify Connect on someone else's WiFi ? I would recommend checking the same mobile with your account on a friends/siblings WiFi and try to connect it to their devices.

 

This would be great indication to what's actually happening whether it's an app issue or something else.
