Hi! I'm a Spanish Spotify user since 2011-05-04. Today I opened the Spotify PC-client and I received a message in a yellow bar at the top with an error. This message indicates that Spotify had not been able to pay my monthly subscription and that I had to contact PayPal to keep my Premium account. I visited the website of Paypal and I find that everything is just like two years ago when I started using Spotify Premium: my account is verified and there is no problem with funds.
¿Any idea? Thanks
Hey! Welcome to the community 🙂
Do you have a credit/debit card linked to your PayPal account?
There is also a help article about this issue here 😉

Hi! Welcome to the community! I think you will just need to set up your payment method once again on this page. It is possible that something went wrong at the time when Spotify was trying to charge you. Let me know if this works for you.
No, I have linked a checking account

That might be why it is not working, strictly speaking PayPal accounts are required to be linked with a credit card in order to be used to pay for Spotify, since Spotify use that information to verify your location.
Try subscribing again, if that doesn't work you might be able to purchase a Premium eCard which you can then redeem against your own account, rather than paying via the rolling subscription payment.
