Hi, a long while ago I have deleted a facebook account and always logged in at Spotify with the Spotify login credentials. Now all Spotify notifications are sent to the email address used in the old (and deleted) Facebook Account. I want to change this, tried many ways, but it seems not be done. The main problem is that I don't have any login credentials for the deleted Facebook Account and Spotify seems to keep asking for this. I also have tried to cancel the Premium Subscription from Spotify in order to start all over again, but with the Spotify cancelling procedure keeps asking to login the Facebook Account; in this one is deleted and I have no login credentials anymore. It is a circle I can't get away from. How can I solve the problem?

Hey 🙂
I've had a chat with one of the forum staff members about this for you.
Best plan of action is to get in touch with the customer support team directly using the online contact form and they will be able to help you out with this. It appears from here that you have accidentally created 2 accounts, the team will be able to help you get to the bottom of this 😉

Hey 🙂
Have you tried unlinked your Facebook account from inside the Spotify desktop client?
Sign in using your Spotify username and password, then head to Edit > Preferences > Social Network > "Disconnect from Facebook".
Once that is done, you should be able to change your email address in your online profile.

Hi Peter, thanks for the suggestion, however there is no: Edit > Preferences > Social Network > "Disconnect from Facebook" in my Spotify Desktop Client.
Is there a "Connect to Facebook" option?
If you can't see either of those options then you must be signed into your desktop client using Facebook login not your Spotify username and password.

No there is no button or whatever. And I can't sign in with the fb account because I do not have any fb credentials anymore.

Thanks Peter, I have sent a message to Spotify. Hopefully they can help. Regards.
Normal response time is within 48 hours 😉
If you get an automated email reply, just reply directly to it and your case will be pushed into the customer services queue. They will reply by email so be sure to check your inbox as well as spam/junk folders.
Also if you don't hear back within a few days, just post back your case number here and I will grab someone to look into it for you 😉
