Upgrading to Spotify Family from yearly subscription

Back in December 2017, I jumped on the bandwagon and bought the yearly subscription for $99. My wife now wants to get Spotify premium. Is there a way for me to change to a family subscription with what I've already paid, or am I out of luck? Would ideally want to not lose half a year's subscription.

You can actually upgrade any time you like. 🙂
The only difference you will see is that the remaining balance will be applied to the Family subscription cost and move your renewal date forward (since this is a higher cost plan). Once you make the switch, your new renewal date can be found on your account page. Hope this helps and have a great day! 🙂
