Wrong username

Somebody has been using my spotify. The usernames has been changed by the person and a lot of friends that I don't know has been added. I just changed my password but how can I change back to the name that I use to log in? And how do I delete the friends?

I believe what's happened here is someone else's Facebook has been linked to your 'annanordell1' account. Has a friend recently used Spotify on your computer?

Not to worry, we can remove that Facebook profile. Please sign out and sign back in with your 'annanordell1' username (not your email).

I seem to be having the same problem.  My username has changed from bbbbeck to solomonstump and this new username is now associated with my email address (but is a standard rather than a premium account).

Any help would be very much appreciated.

i have the same problem, but my username is numbers, i logged in on my friends ipad once and i believe i might have disconnected from facebook. please help

Do you have a Spotify account you created using your Facebook? 

If so, just make sure you are logging in using your Facebook details, Facebook accounts do have usernames made of all numbers.

i originally created my account from facebook, but i tried disconnecting from facebook and reconnecting to facebook to see if it solved my problem. i do not know if i successfully reconnected.

If you created your account via Facebook there should not be any way to disconnect it from Facebook. If you drop the Spotify team an email using the online contact form they will be able to look into what is going on here for you 😉

i went to "preferences" then selected "discconect from facebook" but after that there was no where for me to select "connect to facebook"

That sounds like an absolutely devastating bug, because if you somehow disconnected from Facebook, you have made your account inaccessible. Do you still see your playlists?

Just some knowledge: Accounts created through Facebook are given a username with a bunch of random numbers. However, you're never supposed to see these numbers - if you do, the issue is with your connection to Facebook.

when i log into Spotify.com i see the numbers under my account, i do NOT see ANY of my playlists though
