"Two Months Free" False advertising?

"Two Months Free" False advertising?

Hey,

So i a advert on spotify claims that "We are giving two months free to everyone who upgrades before december 31st"

YET

On the upgrade page it states "Users who have subscribed to the Premium or Unlimited service or who have taken a trial are ineligible for this offer."

So is this false advertising and its not availble to everyone?

i just upgraded to Premeam when there gaveing two mouths free till the 31st of dec.   and i only got one mouth and i cancled straight after as i cant even get in touch with them i feel cheated.

I feel like reporting this to the Advertising Standards. Its a clear misleading.

Not the first time they does something like this... No idea what's going on at their department...

i went to sign up for the offer from spotify that was $0.99 and found out they were going to charge me $9.99 i only had it for an hour then canceled they won't even give me a refund on this.

Seems like someone has picked up on this as i have not hered the advert anymore since.

I just got scammed by spotify with that advertising.

If they don't give my money back, I ask paypal and my bank directly to take my money to these scammers.

It's just incredible... I said I will never put any euro on this service but now it's really the last time!

Tried to sign up to premium via an email offering a 2 month free trial. However, on clicking the link, it only offers 1 month. wth

Hey @tontoto,

Thank you for reaching out to the Community and welcome.

The available Premium offers are usually for users that didn't have tried Premium before.

In case that you meet the requirements, the system will apply the offer to your account. To check the date of the first charge, you can go to your Account page and find it under the section Your plan.

However, if the system didn't apply the trial, as we don't have access to users accounts from the Community, we'd recommend contacting our Customer Support, so they can review your individual account and check what happens.

Hope this helps. If you have any additional questions, don't hesitate to ask.
