AFTER UPGRADING TO MARSHMALLOW (ANDROID 6.0.1) SPOTIFY WILL STOP PLAYING AFTER SCREEN GOES TO SLEEP.

I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 5 with MARSHMALLOW (ANDROID 6.0.1 since the 1st week of April ) and I've been back and forth with the help desk at Spotify who recomended to do a hard reset of the OS which I did, and after re-installing a fresh version of the Spotify App, nothing has changed. It still plays a couple of songs and as soon as the screen goes to sleep the music stops... 

So my question is:

Is there a solution fix coming soon?

If not, what other Music services would you recommend?

Thx utack2!! This solved my problem.

If you are using a Samsung device and experiencing any of the following:

- Next song in an album/playlist is not played

- Lock Screen control vanishing

- Spotify notification disappears

- Tracks marked for offline listening fail to download

- Notifications for new followers, albums etc have not been coming up

please disable the Power Saver which can be found in the phone (in my case a Galaxy Note 5) 

settings > battery > detail > spotify > turned off

Interesting.. Will have to remember this when I'm finally upgraded to Marshmellow.

Intereesting thing is, as long as I've used Spotify Mobile, Ive nenver recieved a notification for a new follower. This despite the fact all of my notifications are enabled. Seperate issue I guess..
