Adding Songs from Mobile to Spotify Mobile

trying to add a downloaded song to my mobile spotify.

i was successful at doing this on my macbook pro through creating a local files folders and connecting from spotify, however, this is not the swift case for my mobile. i am on a android / motorola and there are NO LOCAL FILES at all in the mobile settings. this is the part i am stuck at / all blogs and forums say to go through the LOCAL FILES, which i don't have in my mobile settings?

the song is downloaded to my phone now (as well as my computer) ..the computer plays it, but not the phone.

help! please and thank you!

If you want to be able to play the same local files on your phone as the ones synced on your computer, make sure to follow the steps provided on this help article, under 'Mobile and tablet'.
