Adding locale fills through my phone

My Question or Issue

Dear

I want to add some locale fills from my phone to my playlist.  Is this possible without using a laptop or tablet?  I tried it though the app and the website but i can't find how to do it

Hey there @RomyPauwels,

Thanks for the post.

It's not possible to add local files directly from the phone. You'd need to use the Desktop app to load them to your account and playlists.

After that you can re-download those playlists to your phone. The reason for this is that Spotify saves downloads in the form of cache to save space on mobile devices, and in turn can only play back cache files and not other music formats.
