Hey @breath911,

Thanks for sending over more details!

As the additional songs only seem to appear on the mobile app, could you try clearing stored cache to see if you notice any difference? Make sure to sign out from the app and back in again once it's done. These steps should resync your account info.

Another option is to try a clean reinstall. This will also clear cache, as well as ensure that you're running the latest app version.

Shouldn't this do the trick, however, it would be great if you could log in to another account on your device just to see if the behavior persists. For example, you can ask a friend or a family member to sign in to their own Spotify account on your phone.

Let us know how you get on!

 Superhero isn't on WDTY.

Hi there @breath911,

Thanks for reaching out. We'll be happy to help you get the playback working as usual.

The contents of the album should be the correct ones, but there are a couple of possible reasons why songs from outside the album might get interjected. To narrow down what's happening, could you please provide us the following:

  • Is this on all devices or only on this specific phone?
  • Do you have Smart Shuffle turned on? If so, then this will automatically add recommended songs and that could explain this behaviour.
  • When did this start happening?
  • Is this with all albums, only with specific ones or sporadic?
  • I can see in your screenshot that you're playing on a Bluetooth speaker. Does it only happen when playing through it? How about other Bluetooth and Connect devices? Does it happen when playing on the phone itself?

With this information, we’d be happy to investigate.

Keep us posted.

It's only on my phone, it's off and it started happening when I got premium, few days ago, it's on doesn't happen on some albums, and it happens on everything.
