Android 5.1.1 - Playlist pause when app in background

When I go to another app or put my phone on sleep while playing a playlist the current song finishes normally and then it just pauses. I look at the top bar and it says the song is playing, and i enter the app and the song starts from 0 seconds. It happens about 75% of the time and it's really annoying to have to go to the app just to play one song. I'm fully connected to the internet and have a Samsung galaxy core prime with android 5.1.1

• Does the same happen with other music streaming apps? Are you using any sort of battery saver or task killer app?

I don't use any other music streaming apps on my phone, and I use 360 Battery - Battery Saver, but have it off while I listen to music... I know it runs in the background though.

In my opinion, battery savers don't achieve a lot on more recent phones - I've even seen tests which show they make batteries drain quicker. Anyway, try uninstalling the app and restarting your phone then see if the problem goes away

You may be able to add exceptions to 360, if you really want to keep it.

Ok, thank you. I do have a fairly old phone though, I'll see if this fixes
