[Android] Better control over offline music

It's a bit annoying to pay $10 a month for something when the entire reason I pay for it is so I don't have to go pirate music. Spotify is a great replacement for MP3 players and iPods, however there seems to be a problem on mobile when you are like me and listen to lots of local music wherethe artists don't put themselves on the internet and only distribute their music through CD's. It would be really great to put my buddy's band on a playlist next to my favorite professional artists, but with Spotify this is not currently possible. 

It would be amazing to be able to import locally saved MP3's into the Spotify app to use alongside of Spotify music, like you can on the desktop version.
