Hi I have done a clean install and tried all the recommended fixes listed in the community. Wifi or data, streaming or downloaded no change. music stops constantly for a millisecond. I got the phone last week and used smart switch to update it. I don't have an issue with amazon music. I would like to keep spotify
Hey @Kerob,
Thanks for posting in the Community and welcome.
We'd like to gather some additional info. Just to confirm, is this happening on a different Android mobile with the same Bluetooth device? It'd be awesome if you could check. You can ask for the mobile device of a relative or a friend to open your account and check.
On another note, would you mind sending us the exact Spotify version you are currently running?
Lastly, did you notice if this is happening if you connect the Bluetooth device to a different mobile? Does it happen the same thing? Give it a try and let us know how it goes.
We'll keep an eye on your response!
Thanks for your reply Alega,
My version of spotify is 8.7.92.521. My issue will be the same with other bluetooth devices. I have spotify on my apple phone with no issues & my wife has an android with no issues. I have been using Amazon music for a couple of days now to see if the issue is the same and I found that it only happens every few songs. With spotify it is on all the songs.
Hey @Kerob,
Thanks for getting back to us.
Based on what you mentioned, it looks like the issue is device related. In this case, could you make sure that Spotify has all necessary permissions enabled on your phone?
It's also a good idea to exclude the app from any Battery optimization software that might be active on your smartphone.
Let us know how it goes.
Hello Eni,
The adjustments you suggest were changed in the past and the issue still exists.
Hey @Kerob,
Thanks for your reply.
As we haven’t seen any similar posts about this recently and the issue happens with other streaming apps as well, we feel this is most likely isolated to your device or specific setup.
In this case, we'd recommend reaching out directly to the device manufacturer for further help.

Hi, I want to thank everyone for their input. I only had an issue with my headphones and not any other bluetooth devices I have. I unpaired the headphones and repaired them and that cured my issue.
