[Android][Other] Application Crash

I recently updated to the latest version of Spotify (v7.1.01025 armV7) on my android device (Samsun s7 Edge) and the application keeps on crashing - i.e. freezes, doesn't respond to changing music on lock screen, or just crashes. I've tried force closing the application, and deleting and reinstalling Spotify, and clearing my cache data to clear space - which I have 8GB of free space on my phone, but it continues to crash. I use wireless headphones so not sure if that will impact on the performance of the app. Please help?
