[Android][Playlists] Differences in recommended songs on PC and smartphone

[Android][Playlists] Differences in recommended songs on PC and smartphone

I noticed while playing selfmade playlists on PC that you can listen to whole songs in the "recommended songs" section, but on the smartphone only samples of those songs are played. Is this an intended feature? If not please also let us listen to whole songs in the recommended section on the smartphone.

Also, for some reason, it is not possible to normally play the songs in the recommended section on the smartphone. If you tap on them nothing happens.
I'm guessing the last one is a premium feature but if not please also fix this.

Hey @Ragnar33

Thanks for reaching out about this here in the Community.

We moved your post from the Ideas board to the relevant Help board, where it fits better.

With Spotify free on mobile, you can't choose to play a track on demand and you can only listen in Shuffle mode. You can check all the differences about Spotify's free experience on the mobile app here. However, it's possible to play on demand on the desktop and tablet apps, as well as on the web player. In this case, we can confirm that it's expected behavior that only samples of the recommended songs are played in the mobile app.

On another note, you should still be able to listen to those.  In this case, it's well worth running a clean reinstall to get rid of any cached files that might be causing trouble. This one is more thorough than the usual one.

Let us know how it goes.
