Android app crashing

My Android Spotify app crashes when I use it. 

I have a Samsung Galaxy S7 with the latest updates of Android and Spotify but it is nearly impossible to use the app. The app crashes, the phone freezes, music stops playing, the app needs 2 minutes to start a track even if it is offline and so on. I had another S7 and it was the exact same problem with that. I have been paying for Spotify since the launch and now been waiting for a bug fix for this. It can´t be a problem only for me because it was the same problem with the other phone. 

Right now I have given up using it, I use Youtube for music instead because all I want to do when I am trying to use Spotify is to run it over with the car.

Please, give some tips what I can do to make it work like a normal app should do (especially when I am paying for it every month).

Thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Can you give us some more information about this issue? Let us know:

• Does this happen when you reproduce any of your playlists?
• Do you have this problem using the same Spotify account on any other devices?
• Are you getting any error message when the app crashes?

In the meantime, try logging in with a different account and playing music from there.

Hi, i have the same problem, Samsung S7 edge. Crashes few seconds after startup. Tried different accounts, uninstall and clean install. Only thing i did not try was factory reset on phone. Help!

Mine is same as yours, i'm using xiaomi android phone and the app is always crashed after 5 - 10 minutes and I have to re-opened the app, I'm the premium member of Spotify and it feels so useless if the app still crashed and I have to pay the bills every single month...please help!
