Android app downloaded podcasts show downloading icon when already done

Android app downloaded podcasts show downloading icon when already done

On Android app under Library > Your Episodes I have a number of auto downloaded podcasts episodes. Each time I open the app all ~50 of them show the spinning download icon even though they have already been downloaded. They never re-download, just all 50 of them spinning in sync together. When I close and reopen the app, then everything is fine and all show back to downloaded without the icon as Id expect. Happens every time I initially open the app after having had it closed for a while. I re-downloaded the app more time than I can to mention so it isn't an app version/corruption issue as far as I can see. Anyone else see this or know about it?

Hey @RPM2182,

Thanks for reaching out.

As a first step, we'd recommend making sure that Spotify's cache is not being deleted/corrupted. This means disabling any battery- and memory-optimizing services or setting Spotify as an exception there.

If you need any help with this, we'd suggest reaching out to your device manufacturer for further steps.

Let us know how it goes.
