App not playing songs

App not playing songs

My Spotify app do not play songs after I loose cell coverage, and gets it back again. Any reason why ?

Thank you for reaching out to the Community. We moved your post from Chats to the help boards as its content fits better here.

 

Since Spotify is a streaming service that works with an internet connection, when you lose the cell coverage, it also loses the mobile data connection affecting the app's functionality.

 

However, if you're a Premium subscriber, you can download the playlists you want on your device and listen to them in Offline mode anytime. You can find more info here.

 

In case you have a Premium subscription, but your downloaded content is not playing, we'd recommend performing a clean reinstall of the app. This is often an overlooked step, but it's more thorough than a regular one and can be helpful in getting rid of any cache that might be causing trouble.
