Thanks for your prompt reply. 

In this case, we'd recommend trying the following: 

1. Open Settings.
2. Search for ‘Animation’.
3. Toggle the switch for Remove animations to turn it on/off.
4. Check if that helps.

Note: Your device may list these options under a different heading, or you may have options to adjust your animation scale. You can check out more detailed steps, including screenshots, in this thread.

If that doesn't do the trick, we'd recommend running a clean reinstall of the Spotify app.
